Pro Series Short Block, a premium foundation engineered for high-performance street, drag racing, marine, and custom engine builds. Designed around BluePrint's Pro Series architecture, this short block has demonstrated the capability to produce 627 horsepower and 569 lb-ft of torque when paired with BluePrint HP8013 aluminum cylinder heads, a Holley 850 CFM carburetor, and the recommended induction and valvetrain components. Actual power output will vary depending on the cylinder heads, intake manifold, camshaft, and fuel system selected.

Built around a high-strength cast iron Big Block Chevrolet compatible block, the PS502 features a 4.466-inch bore, 4.000-inch forged steel crankshaft, 6.385-inch forged H-beam connecting rods, and 20.69cc dome forged pistons. The internally balanced rotating assembly, splayed 4-bolt main caps, and 10.5:1 compression ratio (with 118cc cylinder heads and a .039" compressed head gasket) provide an exceptionally durable platform for naturally aspirated or power-adder applications.

Manufactured and machined in the USA, the PS502 offers builders the flexibility to select their preferred cylinder heads, induction system, ignition, and accessories while starting with a professionally assembled, race-proven short block.
