These ARP 8740 chromoly bolts give the bottom end a serious upgrade over the original rod fasteners, making them a solid choice for a performance-oriented engine build while keeping the factory cracked-cap rod configuration. ARP rates these bolts at approximately 200,000 psi tensile strength.
