Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 140838 2020-2026 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System with NPP, Borla. This 3-inch cat-back system is built from T-304 stainless steel and retains the factory NPP dual-mode exhaust functionality while adding Borla's S-Type sound, SwitchFire technology, and Polyphonic Harmonizer. It uses quad 4-inch round polished stainless steel tips and includes heat shielding.
If the C8 sounds a little too tame for your taste, the S-Type gives the LT2 a deeper, more aggressive voice without going straight to the loudest setup in the lineup. The SwitchFire and Polyphonic Harmonizer are there to clean up the exhaust note, while the factory-style valves keep the system working with the car's dual-mode exhaust controls.
This system is for C8s equipped with factory NPP valves. Borla specifically states not to install it on vehicles without OE NPP. After installation, the exhaust valve actuators require recalibration according to GM Document ID 5406413.
