This PerfectFit™ conversion kit upgrades classic Mopar B-Body vehicles with modern six-speed overdrive performance while maintaining factory-style drivability, improved highway cruising, and increased performance capability.
This TREMEC Magnum 6-Speed kit is designed for 1966-1970 Mopar B-Body applications including Charger, Coronet, GTX, Road Runner, Satellite, Super Bee, Super Bird, and Belvedere models. The PerfectFit™ design allows enthusiasts to upgrade their classic Mopar with modern transmission technology while retaining the original torsion bar suspension system.
The TREMEC T56 Magnum 6-Speed features double overdrive capability, 700 lb-ft torque capacity, and high-performance synchronizers designed for smooth shifting and high RPM operation. Available gear ratios include 2.66, 1.78, 1.30, 1.00, 0.80, 0.63 or 2.97, 2.10, 1.46, 1.00, 0.80, 0.63.
This conversion provides lower cruising RPM, reduced engine wear, improved fuel economy, cooler operating temperatures, and reduced NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) compared to original factory transmissions.
