Designed for manual transmission vehicles, this PerfectFit™ conversion kit delivers the strength of the TREMEC Magnum 6-speed with double overdrive, improved highway drivability, and factory-style fitment for classic Ford and Mercury intermediate platforms.

Installation Notice: This PerfectFit™ kit is intended for manual-to-manual transmission conversions. It is engineered to provide factory shifter positioning on applicable vehicles. A Classic Fit version is also available for non-console applications and requires additional tunnel modifications. Verify engine, bellhousing, clutch linkage, and drivetrain configuration before ordering.
The TREMEC Magnum 6-Speed is engineered for high-performance street and track applications while maintaining excellent highway manners. Rated for up to 700 lb-ft of torque, the Magnum features double overdrive gearing, premium synchronizers for high-RPM shifting, and substantially reduced engine RPM during highway driving.
This PerfectFit™ conversion package includes the primary installation components required to install a Magnum 6-speed into applicable 1966-1971 Ford Torino, Fairlane, Ranchero, Mercury Comet, Cyclone, and Montego applications while maintaining proper driveline geometry and factory-style shifter placement.
