This basic conversion kit upgrades classic Ford performance vehicles with a modern TREMEC Magnum 6-speed manual transmission designed for improved highway cruising, reduced engine RPM, and increased drivetrain capability.

Builder Kit Notice: This is a basic conversion kit intended for builders capable of fabricating or modifying their own crossmember and transmission tunnel components as required. Additional components may be necessary depending on vehicle configuration.
The TREMEC Magnum 6-speed provides six forward gears with double overdrive capability, allowing lower engine RPM during highway driving while maintaining strong acceleration performance. With a torque capacity of up to 700 lb-ft, this transmission is designed for high-performance street builds and custom applications.
Available gear ratio configurations include wide ratio and close ratio options. Wide ratio gearing includes 2.66, 1.78, 1.30, 1.00, 0.80, and 0.63 gears. Close ratio gearing includes 2.97, 2.10, 1.46, 1.00, 0.80, and 0.63 gears.
The basic kit includes the TREMEC Magnum 6-speed double overdrive transmission, slip yoke, speedometer connection options, reverse light connector, heavy-duty pilot bearing, isolator mount, installation hardware, and detailed installation instructions.
Optional components are available for complete conversions, including flywheel, clutch kit, bellhousing, shifter handle, shifter knob, throwout bearing, and front shift kit options for applications requiring additional bench seat clearance.
Driveshafts are not included with every order and may be purchased separately depending on application requirements. Verify engine combination, clutch system, transmission tunnel clearance, and drivetrain configuration before ordering.
