Designed for 1968-1974 GM X-Body vehicles, this SST TREMEC TKX 5-Speed Conversion Kit fits Chevrolet Chevy II and Nova models along with Oldsmobile Omega, Pontiac Ventura, Buick Apollo, 1974 GTO, and Acadian applications.
The TREMEC TKX is designed for classic performance vehicles requiring modern manual transmission strength, improved street manners, and highway comfort. With a compact rounded case design, the TKX reduces installation challenges while providing the durability needed for high-performance applications.
This PerfectFit™ kit delivers a balance of everyday drivability and performance capability with a 600 lb-ft torque rating, 7,500 RPM shift capability, and double overdrive gearing for comfortable highway cruising.
