Designed for classic Chevrolet Chevy II and Acadian vehicles, this PerfectFit™ kit upgrades your original manual drivetrain with the modern performance, strength, and reliability of the TREMEC TKX 5-speed overdrive transmission.
The TREMEC TKX is one of the most compact high-performance 5-speed transmissions available, making it an ideal upgrade for classic X-Body applications. With a 600 lb-ft torque capacity, 7,500 RPM shift capability, and improved highway cruising, the TKX delivers modern drivability while maintaining the character of your classic vehicle.
This kit is designed for manual transmission applications and includes the components needed to install a TKX into your GM X-Body. Automatic-to-manual conversion parts are available separately for vehicles originally equipped with an automatic transmission.
