This reproduction in-dash tachometer is designed for 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, and 1978 Chevrolet Camaro models equipped with the factory gauge package where the 5000 RPM redline tachometer is correct. It replaces the original dash-mounted tachometer when the factory unit is faded, damaged, inaccurate, non-functional, or missing.
This tachometer features factory-style markings, a black face, white lettering, orange pointer, 5000 RPM redline, and 7000 RPM maximum reading. It is designed to restore the original appearance and function of the Camaro instrument cluster while keeping the dash area correct for a second generation Camaro restoration.
This part is intended for factory gauge cluster applications and should be matched to the original tachometer redline before ordering.
