Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 3974545 OER 1970-1981 Chevrolet Camaro Front Fender Side Marker Lamp Retainer for securing the front side marker lamp assembly to the front fender. This retainer is designed for use on either the left hand driver side or right hand passenger side front marker lamp location and is required when installing or replacing front side marker lights on 1970-1981 Camaro models.
Original side marker retainers are often missing, rusted, bent, broken, painted over, or discarded during body work and repaint projects. Replacing the retainer helps the side marker lamp sit correctly in the fender opening, giving the installation a tighter, cleaner, more factory-style fit. It is a small part, but without it the marker lamp can become the loose tooth in an otherwise sharp restoration.
For a complete front side marker service, this retainer pairs with the correct front side marker lamp, bezel, gasket, and hardware depending on model year. Two retainers are required per vehicle when replacing both front side marker lamps.
