Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this R529 OER 1971-1973 Chevrolet Camaro Standard Tail Light and Back-Up Lens Set 4 Piece for restoring the rear lighting appearance on early second generation Camaro standard models. This kit includes the rear tail light lenses and back-up lamp lenses needed to refresh the factory-style rear lamp presentation on 1971-1973 Camaro models without the Rally Sport rear lighting trim package.
This reproduction lens set is designed without chrome trim rings, making it correct for standard Camaro applications rather than RS-style lens assemblies. The kit includes two tail lamp lenses and two back-up lamp lenses with late 1971 second-design pillow optics. Original rear lenses commonly become faded, cloudy, cracked, scratched, brittle, or mismatched after decades of sunlight, polishing, washing, and rear lamp service.
Replacing the full four-piece lens set helps restore balanced rear lens color, clear reverse lamp detail, and a cleaner tail panel appearance. For a well-restored 1971-1973 Camaro, fresh rear lighting lenses help the car look properly finished instead of carrying the haze and dullness of aged original plastic.
