Designed for 1973-1979 Ford F-Series trucks including F100 and F150 applications, the TREMEC TKX 5-Speed conversion kit provides modern overdrive performance while maintaining the classic truck driving experience. The compact TKX transmission design helps reduce or eliminate tunnel modifications in many applications.
The TREMEC TKX is engineered for street-driven performance builds, capable of handling up to 600 lb-ft of torque and supporting shifts up to 7,500 RPM. With improved shift quality, reduced NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness), and modern overdrive gearing, this transmission is ideal for classic Ford trucks used for cruising, performance driving, and long-distance travel.
