Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 152631 / 152632 OER 1974-1977 Chevrolet Camaro Tail Light Filler Gasket Set Pair for restoring the rear lighting trim area on mid-second generation Camaro models. This matched set includes both the left hand driver side and right hand passenger side tail lamp filler gaskets, helping finish the body-to-lens trim area around both rear tail light assemblies.
Your tail lights consist of 3 sets of gaskets or seals. This pair are the filler gaskets which are attached to the tail light lens itself. When the tail light is mounted to the body, these act as a close out panel for the area between the chrome accent trim and the body of the car. They are meant to clean up the lines between the body and tail light lens and also to prevent debris from entering the small gap between the tub and the tail lamps.
These reproduction close-out filler gaskets are molded from EPDM rubber and shaped with factory-style contours for proper fitment around the tail lamp lens area. Original filler gaskets commonly become dried, flattened, torn, brittle, distorted, or missing after decades of heat, sunlight, moisture, repaint work, and rear lighting service. Replacing both sides together helps restore a cleaner, more balanced rear panel appearance.
