Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1975-1981 Camaro / 1974-1976 Firebird Trans Am Headlight Retainer Ring OER 5964574 designed to secure the sealed beam headlamp to the factory headlight bucket assembly. This retainer ring holds the headlamp bulb in place while allowing the factory adjustment hardware to properly aim the light.
Original headlight retaining rings are often bent, rusted, weakened, or missing from decades of service, moisture exposure, front-end repairs, and repeated bulb changes. Replacing this ring helps restore correct headlamp retention, proper sealed beam positioning, and reliable front lighting function.
This OER reproduction is manufactured from stamped polished aluminum and replicates the original design used on select GM sealed beam headlight applications. It is correct for 1975-1981 Camaro models and, on the Pontiac side, fits 1974-1976 Firebird and Trans Am models. This is the accurate Firebird interchange and should not be listed as 1977-1981 Firebird/Trans Am.
