Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1978-1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Deluxe Torch Red Encore Velour Cloth Front and Rear Seat Upholstery Set Acme - U377-KS83.
This replacement front and rear seat upholstery set is designed for 1978, 1979, 1980, and 1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am models with Deluxe-style interiors. It is made in Torch Red Encore Velour cloth and is intended to replace worn, torn, faded, stained, split, or damaged original seat upholstery.
This is replacement seat upholstery, not a loose slip-on seat cover set. The original seat covers must be removed from the seat frames and foam before the new upholstery is installed. The set includes upholstery, installation instructions, hog rings, and hog ring pliers, giving the installer the basic upholstery attachment components needed for installation.
This upholstery set is useful for Trans Am interior restoration, Torch Red interior repair, seat cover replacement, or restoring a worn Deluxe interior seat pattern.
- Note: ThIs deluxe seat upholstery sets by ACME to have some custom variants over other reproductions.
- The encore velour cloth was not used in 1979-1981,
- Also the quad horizontal rib bars on the front and rear seats have been removed and instead a solid bolster is used instead.
- This makes for a correct factory fitting new replacement cover with the addition of some “Custom Touches” which will make you car stand out in a crowd!

- Original upholstery must be removed before installing this replacement upholstery.
- Inspect seat foam and seat frames before installation. Damaged, collapsed, modified, or deteriorated seat foam can affect final fit.
- Test fit upholstery before final attachment.
- Steam, stretching, listing-wire alignment, and upholstery tools may be required during installation.
- Do not cut, trim, hog-ring, steam, stretch, modify, or install the upholstery until fitment and seat style have been confirmed.
- Installed, modified, cut, stretched, stained, damaged, or altered upholstery may not be returnable.
- Professional upholstery installation is recommended for best fit and finish.
