This PerfectFit™ transmission conversion kit upgrades classic GM G-Body vehicles with modern automatic overdrive performance, improved drivability, electronic transmission control, and reduced cruising RPM.

Designed for 1978-1988 GM G-Body applications, this A41 4L60E Automatic 4-Speed Kit provides modern automatic transmission performance for Buick Regal, Chevrolet El Camino, Chevrolet Malibu, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, GMC Caballero, Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, Cutlass Cruiser, Cutlass Salon, Pontiac Bonneville, and Pontiac Grand Prix models.
The A41 4L60E is an electronically controlled automatic overdrive transmission designed to replace older transmissions while improving acceleration, highway cruising, and overall drivability. This transmission is an excellent upgrade over factory 904, 727, 518, Powerglide, TH350, TH400, 200R4, and 700R4 applications.
The A41 4L60E features gear ratios of 3.06, 1.63, 1.00, and 0.70 overdrive. Available power levels include Stage 1 rated for 450 torque, Stage 2 rated for 550 torque, and Stage 3 rated for 650 torque.
The kit includes the A41 transmission assembly, COMPUSHIFT Sport controller, OEM-style dipstick and tube, bellhousing, electronically controlled lockup torque converter, throttle position sensor, cooler lines, speedometer connection, wiring harness, inspection cover, slip yoke, and reverse light wiring.
The included COMPUSHIFT Sport controller provides complete control over shift strategy, shift feel, torque converter clutch operation, and speedometer calibration. Bluetooth connectivity allows programming adjustments through compatible smartphones, tablets, PCs, and Macs.
