Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1982–1992 Camaro Firebird T-Top Side Seal Metal Retainer Pair, Part Number HT4042, designed as a correct reproduction of the factory metal retainers used to secure the T-top side weatherstripping on third-generation F-body vehicles. These retainers mount along the T-top opening and provide the necessary structure to hold the side seals firmly in place.
Over time, original retainers become rusted, bent, or weakened, preventing the weatherstripping from sealing properly. This can lead to wind noise, water leaks, and poor fitment of the T-top panels.
