Designed specifically for the 1982-1992 GM F-body platform, this kit adds lighting beneath the dash on both the driver and passenger sides for improved visibility when entering or exiting the vehicle at night. Unlike a generic universal LED lighting kit, this system is designed around the Third Gen Camaro and Firebird interior for a clean, factory-style appearance.
The lights operate automatically with the vehicle's courtesy-light circuit. Open the door and the footwell lights illuminate. Close the doors and the lights turn off automatically, providing operation similar to the vehicle's existing interior courtesy lighting.
This is particularly useful for vehicles that were not originally equipped with factory footwell lighting. The complete kit provides the lamps, vehicle-specific mounting provisions, prepared wiring and components needed to add driver- and passenger-side footwell illumination.
All wiring is already cut to length and enclosed in loom, helping create a clean installation under the dashboard rather than leaving exposed loose wiring.
The passenger-side lamp uses the factory mounting location. A metal mounting bracket is supplied for the driver-side lamp. An additional metal bracket is also supplied for vehicles that are missing their lower dash panels, expanding the installation options for cars that have been modified or are missing original interior components.

These are fixed-color LED choices. The lights do not electronically change between colors. Changing the illumination color requires changing the LED bulbs.

COMPLETE KIT VS. LED REPLACEMENT BULBS
This product is the complete footwell lighting kit.
Some 1982-1992 Camaro and Firebird models were originally equipped with factory footwell lighting. Replacement LED bulbs are available separately for those vehicles.
This complete kit is the appropriate choice when you want to add footwell lighting to a vehicle that does not currently have the factory lighting system, or when a complete installation system is needed rather than replacement bulbs alone.
INSTALLATION NOTES
The kit is designed for installation beneath the dashboard to provide driver- and passenger-side footwell illumination.
The passenger-side lamp utilizes the factory mounting location, while the driver-side lamp uses the supplied metal bracket. A second metal bracket is provided for vehicles where the lower dash panels are missing.
The wiring is supplied pre-cut to length and protected inside wiring loom. Installation instructions are included.
Once connected to the appropriate interior courtesy-light circuit, the footwell lights illuminate when a door is opened and turn off when the doors are closed.
