This reproduction T-Top stowage retainer bracket and hook set is designed for 1982-1992 Camaro, Firebird, Formula, Trans Am, and GTA models equipped with removable T-Top roof panels.
This OER reproduction set restores the forward cargo area mounting point used to secure the factory-style T-Top stowage bag when the glass roof panels are removed and stored. The stamped steel bracket mounts in the forward cargo area, and the U-shaped retainer hook attaches to the bracket with two screws. Once installed, the T-Top stowage bag hooks onto the retainer to help keep the roof panels secured during storage.
Original T-Top storage hardware is often missing, rusty, bent, broken, or incomplete after years of hatch trim work, cargo area use, repainting, storage bag replacement, or interior restoration. Replacing the forward cargo area bracket and hook assembly helps bring the T-Top storage system back to proper factory-style function.
