This stand-alone wiring harness allows a factory-style 1987-1992 dual electric fan assembly to be integrated into compatible 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird projects.
Dedicated low- and high-speed negative-trigger inputs, fan-motor connectors, power and ground leads create a clean control path for restomods, cooling upgrades and earlier third-generation cars converted to factory dual fans.

Two-Speed Control Inputs
Separate low- and high-speed trigger leads let the installer connect an appropriate ECM, fan controller or switching strategy. Both control inputs require a negative trigger.
1987-1992 Fan-Side Compatibility
The harness is sold for 1982-1992 retrofit projects, but its motor connectors are designed for the factory 1987-1992 dual-fan assembly. This distinction should be confirmed before ordering.
Control Source Required
The harness does not generate temperature-based commands. The vehicle must provide properly engineered low- and high-speed signals through an ECM, controller or switch system.
- Disconnect the battery and identify a protected harness route away from exhaust and moving parts.
- Confirm that the fan assembly uses compatible 1987-1992 factory-style motor connectors.
- Mount the harness so relays, splices and terminals are protected from heat, moisture and abrasion.
- Connect the red lead to a properly protected 12-volt power source and the black lead to a clean ground.
- Connect the green wire to the low-speed negative trigger and the white wire to the high-speed negative trigger.
- Plug the fan connectors into the compatible motors and secure all wiring with adequate strain relief.
- Reconnect the battery and command each speed separately while monitoring fan rotation and current draw.
- Verify that both fans shut off correctly and that wiring remains cool before completing the installation.
