This new reproduction long outer air-box bolt secures the air-filter lid to the air-box housing on compatible 1985-1996 Chevrolet Corvette models. It replaces a missing, damaged, corroded or incorrect fastener while restoring the proper factory-style service point.

- Allow the engine compartment to cool and locate the two outer air-box lid positions.
- Remove the existing fastener while supporting the lid.
- Inspect the threaded receiver and lid opening for damage or debris.
- Compare the replacement length with the original outer bolt.
- Start the bolt by hand and tighten it evenly with the opposite side.
- Confirm the air-box lid is seated without distortion.
