This new reproduction air-box bolt replaces a missing, damaged or incorrect fastener in compatible Pontiac Firebird Ram Air and Chevrolet Corvette intake-box applications. It serves as a Ram Air box hold-down bolt on the Firebird and as the center intake-box screw on the Corvette.

Firebird Position
On the applicable Ram Air box, the fastener is used at the rear to retain the upper section over the filter. Air-box style determines whether three or four are required; the 1993 Firehawk uses three.
Corvette Position
For 1990-1996 Corvette intake boxes, this part is used as the center screw rather than the longer outer bolts.

- Allow the engine compartment to cool and support the air-box lid.
- Identify the correct rear Ram Air or Corvette center-screw position.
- Inspect the threaded receiver and surrounding plastic for damage.
- Start the reproduction bolt by hand.
- Tighten only enough to seat the lid evenly.
- Confirm the filter is captured correctly and the box closes without distortion.

No. HM14104835 is the center screw for the 1990-1996 Corvette intake box.
How many does a Firebird Ram Air box use?
The box style uses three or four; Hawks notes that the 1993 Firehawk uses three.
