Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird Raised Door Emblem “Firebird” Lettering Overlay Decal Set from Phoenix Graphix, part number 9802FBDN.
These GM-authorized reproduction vinyl overlays restore or customize the colored “Firebird” lettering found within the vehicle’s existing raised door emblems. The precision-cut overlays apply directly over the original lettering surfaces while retaining the factory raised-emblem appearance.
The kit includes:
- One driver-side “Firebird” door-emblem lettering overlay
- One passenger-side “Firebird” door-emblem lettering overlay
- Installation squeegee
- Installation instructions

Correct applications include:
- 1998 Pontiac Firebird with existing raised “Firebird” door emblems

- 2001 Pontiac Firebird with existing raised “Firebird” door emblems
- 2002 Pontiac Firebird with existing raised “Firebird” door emblems
These decals are designed specifically for the raised “Firebird” door-emblem lettering. They are not complete replacement emblems and will not replace missing, broken or severely damaged emblem assemblies.
This package is not correct for Formula or Trans Am door emblems because those models use different identification lettering. Phoenix Graphix 9302FDN is available for raised Formula door emblems, while 9302TADN is intended for raised Trans Am door emblems.
The package does not include physical door emblems, Firebird body graphics, front-bumper bird decals, rear P-O-N-T-I-A-C lettering, headlamp-door lettering, Ram Air hood decals, rear filler-panel graphics or technical decals.
Before installation, thoroughly clean the existing raised lettering and remove all wax, polish, grease, adhesive residue and surface contamination. Carefully align each overlay with the raised letter surfaces before applying firm pressure.
