Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 1985-1989-Inspired One-Color Ram Air Hood Bird Decal from Screaming Chicken, part number 4th-80s-bird.
This custom vinyl graphic adapts the angular hood-bird styling associated with 1985-1989 Trans Am models to the sculpted factory Ram Air hood used on 1998-2002 fourth-generation Trans Am models.
The graphic is specifically shaped to follow the contours of the raised Ram Air hood. It is not designed for the standard flat Firebird hood, the 1993-1997 Firebird hood configuration or applications from other model generations.

This package contains one single-color hood bird only. Ram Air scoop lettering, roof stripes, rear deck-lid stripes, spoiler stripes, Trans Am door-emblem overlays, sail-panel birds, bumper lettering, physical emblems and technical decals are not included.
Depending on the selected color, the graphic is manufactured from premium Hexis, KPMF, Avery or 3M automotive vinyl. The available materials feature air-release backing, UV protection and pressure-sensitive adhesive to assist with installation and provide dependable exterior durability.
This is a custom appearance graphic inspired by third-generation Trans Am styling. It was not a factory-installed graphic on 1998-2002 Trans Am models, and installation does not identify or authenticate a vehicle as a factory special edition.
Colors may appear different depending on the vehicle’s paint color, lighting conditions and display settings. Verify the selected color carefully before ordering because these made-to-order vinyl graphics are non-returnable.
Professional installation is strongly recommended. The large graphic requires careful alignment and application across the raised Ram Air hood contours. Paint must be fully cured and free from wax, polish, grease, adhesive residue and other surface contamination before installation.
All vinyl kits use high quality vinyl - Hexis, KPMF, Avery or 3M depending on which color is selected. All vinyl has an air release backing, UV protection and pressure sensitive adhesive for an easier install and long life.
