These Hawks Ebony Black front carpet floor mats are designed for 2000-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird coupes. The plain, no-logo design provides a clean factory-style appearance without Camaro, Firebird, Z28, SS, Formula, Trans Am, WS6 or Firehawk identification.
The two-piece package includes:
- One driver-side front floor mat
- One passenger-side front floor mat
- Ebony Black automotive carpet
- Plain carpet surfaces without logos or embroidery
- Application-specific coupe floor-mat shapes
Rear passenger-compartment floor mats and a rear hatch deck mat are not included.
Ebony Black Color
Ebony Black is the cataloged color for applicable 2000-2002 Camaro and Firebird interiors.
Hawks describes this reproduction carpet as a lighter black that may appear similar to very dark gray. It should not be assumed to have the appearance of a deep jet-black carpet. Compare the product photographs and the Ebony-versus-Graphite reference image before ordering.
Original carpet color can vary because of fading, cleaning products, previous carpet replacement and normal aging. Current automotive carpet materials may also differ slightly in color, texture and density from original GM carpeting.
Plain No-Logo Design
Neither front mat has an embroidered or molded vehicle logo. The unbranded design allows the mats to be used across compatible Camaro and Firebird models without displaying incorrect model identification.

The original GM 88987426 package included front and rear carpet mats. The current Hawks HM88987426 reproduction contains the two front mats only.
Although the physical pattern fits applicable special-edition coupes, the plain no-logo appearance may differ from the model-specific mats originally associated with editions such as the 2002 Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Edition and 2002 Firebird Trans Am Collector Edition.

This is a newly manufactured reproduction pair. It is not used, New Old Stock or an original discontinued GM 88987426 floor-mat package.
Hawks works with the manufacturer that produced original floor and rear deck mats supplied through SLP during the late 1990s and early 2000s. These reproductions are manufactured to closely recreate the original appearance using automotive carpet materials available today.
Minor differences in carpet color, texture, density or construction may exist when compared with original GM- or SLP-era floor mats.
Installation Information
Remove the existing floor mats before installing this set. Do not stack these reproduction mats over factory or aftermarket mats.
After positioning the mats:
- Confirm that the driver-side mat lies flat
- Check accelerator, brake and clutch-pedal clearance
- Make sure the mat cannot move beneath the pedals
- Verify that the passenger-side mat is fully seated
- Recheck the mat position periodically
