Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 2016-2018 Chevrolet Camaro Two-Color 50th Anniversary-Inspired Hood, Deck-Lid and Spoiler Stripe Kit with Optional Roof Stripe, Screaming Chicken 6th-50th-stripes.
Give your sixth-generation Camaro the distinctive appearance of the graphics associated with the 2017 Camaro 50th Anniversary celebration and Indianapolis 500 pace-car styling. This aftermarket package features one wide center stripe section bordered by a narrower accent stripe on each side.
The two-color design allows the wide center section and smaller outside stripes to be ordered in separate colors. The wide main graphics are installed first, followed by the narrower side stripes. This layered installation produces the characteristic three-section appearance while allowing contrasting or coordinating color combinations.
The standard package includes pre-cut graphics for the hood, rear deck lid or trunk, and compatible rear spoiler. Optional roof sections are available for vehicles without a sunroof or with a factory sunroof. The kit does not extend onto the nose or front bumper.
Separate configurations are available for SS coupes, SS convertibles, LS or LT coupes with a rear lip spoiler, LS or LT coupes without a rear lip spoiler, and LS or LT convertibles. The selected configuration determines the shape of the hood, deck-lid and spoiler graphics supplied.
The graphics are pre-cut for the selected factory-style body configuration and require no routine perimeter cutting or trimming when installed on the correct application. The vinyl brand may vary by selected color and can include Hexis, KPMF, Avery or 3M material. Supplied vinyl features air-release backing, UV protection and pressure-sensitive adhesive.
This is a 50th Anniversary-inspired aftermarket stripe kit. It is not a genuine GM graphics package, an exact reproduction of the original 2017 factory stripes or proof that a vehicle is an original 50th Anniversary Special Edition.
The available colors are not represented as exact matches for original GM paint or vinyl colors. Request a physical color sample through Hawks Motorsports before ordering when an exact color comparison is important.
This vehicle-specific kit does not fit ZL1 or 1LE Camaros. Compatibility is not guaranteed with aftermarket hoods, unsupported spoilers or modified body panels. Vinyl graphics are configured to order and non-returnable. Professional installation is recommended.

The center and outside stripes may be ordered in contrasting or coordinating colors. Selecting visually similar colors will produce a more subtle appearance.
Colors can look different depending on the Camaro’s paint color, lighting conditions and the screen used to view them. The supplier specifically advises that the available colors do not exactly match GM colors.
Do not assume that Satin Black, Matte Black and Gloss Black are interchangeable finishes.

The current Hawks configuration does not provide a hood-only selection. Do not promise a hood-only package without confirming a special order through Hawks Motorsports.

This package is a customizable aftermarket interpretation of the anniversary graphics. It is not marketed as genuine GM, GM licensed or an exact factory reproduction.
INSTALLATION NOTES
- Professional installation is recommended.
- Read the supplied instructions completely before installation.
- Verify the Camaro’s year, body style, hood and spoiler configuration.
- Confirm whether the vehicle has a factory sunroof.
- Confirm both selected colors before installation.
- Inspect every vinyl section before removing any backing.
- Separate the wide center pieces from the narrow outside pieces.
- Identify the hood, roof, deck-lid and spoiler sections.
- Compare the pieces with the vehicle before applying adhesive.
- Do not begin installation if the supplied graphics do not match the selected configuration.
- Wash and dry the vehicle before beginning surface preparation.
- Remove wax, grease, polish, ceramic-coating residue and detailing products.
- Apply the graphics only to clean, dry, smooth and fully cured paint.
- Do not apply vinyl over loose paint, peeling clear coat or contaminated surfaces.
- Work in a clean, shaded, dust-free and wind-free environment.
- Follow the instructions supplied for the specific vinyl material.
- Establish the Camaro’s centerline using fixed body-panel reference points.
- Test-position the complete center stripe before installation.
- Install the wide center sections first.
- Position the narrower side stripes only after the main center graphics are aligned.
- Maintain even spacing between the center and side-stripe sections.
- Align the hood, optional roof, rear deck-lid and spoiler sections before final adhesion.
- Use extra care around the sunroof opening when installing the sunroof-specific roof package.
- Do not stretch the vinyl excessively to compensate for poor initial alignment.
- Excessive stretching can distort the stripe width and spacing.
- Use the vinyl’s air-release channels to work trapped air toward the graphic edges.
- Do not force the kit to fit an unsupported hood or spoiler.
- Stop and recheck the configuration if extensive trimming appears necessary.
- Allow adequate adhesive-bonding time before washing or detailing the vehicle.
- Avoid automatic car-wash brushes immediately after installation.
- Clean low-gloss or satin vinyl with mild soap and water rather than aggressive polish or wax.
- Confirm the colors and configuration before ordering because configured vinyl graphics are non-returnable.
All vinyl graphics use high quality vinyl - Hexis, KPMF, Avery or 3M depending on which color is selected. All vinyl has an air release backing, UV protection and pressure sensitive adhesive for an easier install and long life. We install what we sell - install available at our Azle, Texas location.
