Producing 500 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque, the engine is built around a BluePrint high-strength cast iron 4-bolt main block with a forged steel crankshaft, forged 6.000-inch I-beam connecting rods, forged 16cc dish pistons, BluePrint aluminum cylinder heads, and a hydraulic roller camshaft. Fuel is supplied by a Holley 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor mounted on a dual-plane aluminum intake manifold for excellent throttle response and broad power throughout the RPM range. The polished front accessory drive system includes a reverse-rotation short water pump, 140-amp one-wire alternator, Type II power steering pump with remote reservoir, and an air conditioning compressor for a clean, finished installation. Each Builder Series package is precision assembled, balanced, dyno tested, and shipped with a matched transmission package to simplify your installation. Manufacturer-rated output is 500 horsepower at 5,800 RPM and 510 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,700 RPM.
