Pro Series Short Block, a premium foundation engineered for serious high-performance street, drag racing, marine, and custom engine builds. Designed around BluePrint's Pro Series architecture, this short block has demonstrated the capability to produce 670 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque when paired with BluePrint HP8013 aluminum cylinder heads, a Holley 850 CFM carburetor, and the recommended valvetrain and induction components. Actual power output will vary depending on the cylinder heads, camshaft, induction, and fuel system selected. 

Built on a high-strength cast iron Big Block Chevrolet compatible block, the PS5401 features a 4.500-inch bore, 4.250-inch forged steel crankshaft, forged 6.385-inch H-beam connecting rods, and 13cc dome forged pistons. The internally balanced rotating assembly and splayed 4-bolt main caps provide exceptional durability for naturally aspirated and power-adder applications. With a 10.5:1 compression ratio (using 118cc cylinder heads and a .039" compressed head gasket), this short block is an outstanding choice for builders seeking a reliable, high-horsepower platform.
