This Basic Builder's Kit upgrades classic GM B-Body vehicles with a modern electronically controlled 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission while allowing experienced builders to fabricate or modify components as needed for installation.

Designed for 1965-1970 GM B-Body applications including Impala, Caprice, Bel Air, Biscayne, Bonneville, Catalina, and Grand Prix models, this A41 4L60E transmission package delivers modern automatic transmission performance, improved highway drivability, and dependable electronic shifting.
The A41 4L60E features a 3.06 First Gear and a 0.70 Overdrive, providing stronger acceleration while significantly reducing engine RPM during highway cruising. Available in three performance stages rated for up to 650 lb-ft of torque, the A41 delivers excellent street performance and reliability.
Each Basic Kit includes the essential components required for installation, including the A41 4L60E automatic transmission, COMPUSHIFT Sport controller, bellhousing, lockup torque converter, throttle position sensor, dipstick and tube, slip yoke, wiring harness, inspection cover, speedometer cable, reverse light wiring, installation hardware, and detailed installation instructions with lifetime technical support.
The included COMPUSHIFT Sport controller allows complete transmission calibration using Android, iOS, Windows, or Mac devices through Bluetooth connectivity, providing fully adjustable shift points, converter lockup control, and speedometer calibration.
