The TREMEC TR-4050 provides a wide gear range designed for Early Bronco builds. The 6.16:1 first gear ratio provides improved low-speed control for trail driving and off-road use, while the 0.76:1 overdrive fifth gear helps lower engine RPM during highway cruising.
With a rated capacity of up to 600 lb-ft of torque, this Bronco transmission conversion kit is suited for a variety of applications including restoration projects, off-road builds, towing setups, and engine swaps. The synchronized 5-speed design provides improved drivability compared to many original manual transmission options.
The complete conversion kit includes the TREMEC TR-4050 transmission, STX short-throw shifter designed for Early Bronco positioning, adapter plate, pilot bearing, crossmember, transfer case adapter, isolator mount, reverse light connector, shifter handle and knob, long input shaft, bearing retainer, complete hardware kit, and installation instructions.
The TREMEC TR-4050 features a die-cast aluminum housing, helical-cut gears, internal rail shifting system, tapered bearings, needle bearings, fully synchronized gears, and advanced synchronizer technology for smooth gear engagement and durable operation.
Optional components may be required depending on the vehicle configuration, engine combination, and conversion requirements. Available options may include clutch components, flywheel, bellhousing, hydraulic clutch conversion components, fluids, and additional accessories.
