The TREMEC TR-4050 provides a wide gear range designed for classic GM 4WD truck applications. The 6.16:1 first gear provides improved low-speed control for trail driving and off-road use, while the 0.76:1 fifth gear overdrive helps reduce engine RPM during highway cruising.
Rated for up to 600 lb-ft of torque, this conversion kit is designed for Chevrolet and GMC K-Series 4x4 builds including restoration projects, performance upgrades, and engine swap applications. The TR-4050 features fully synchronized gears, internal rail shifting, helical-cut gears, tapered bearings, needle bearings, and a durable aluminum housing for reliable operation.
The conversion kit includes the TREMEC TR-4050 5-speed transmission, pilot bearing, installation hardware, reverse light wiring pigtail, crossmember mount template, and step-by-step installation instructions.
