This automatic transmission conversion system upgrades classic GM K-Series 4WD trucks with modern overdrive technology, electronic transmission control, and improved drivability for both street and off-road use.

Designed specifically for 1967-1972 Chevrolet and GMC K-Series 4WD applications, this A41X conversion kit provides a modern automatic transmission solution for classic trucks. The A41X utilizes a GM 4L60E / 4L65E aftermarket replacement transmission platform with electronically controlled shifting and overdrive capability.
With gear ratios of 3.06, 1.63, 1.00, and 0.70, the A41X provides improved acceleration, smoother highway cruising, and reduced engine RPM compared to many original automatic transmissions. The kit is available in three torque capacity configurations: Stage 1 at 450 lb-ft, Stage 2 at 550 lb-ft, and Stage 3 at 650 lb-ft.
The complete conversion kit includes the A41X automatic transmission, bellhousing, lockup torque converter, cooling line, hardware, isolator mount, COMPUSHIFT Sport controller, bellhousing dust cover, GM NP205 transfer case adapter, OEM-style dipstick and tube, instructions, and warranty.
The included COMPUSHIFT Sport controller allows programmable transmission control through Android, iOS, PC, and Mac devices. Users can adjust shift strategy, shift speed, shift feel, torque converter clutch control, and speedometer calibration while utilizing plug-and-play connectors for supported applications.
Installation may require cutting and/or fabrication depending on the vehicle configuration. Verify engine, transfer case, and drivetrain specifications before ordering to ensure proper application.
