Product Description:
Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1970-1973 Camaro Buckskin Premier Perforated Vinyl 5-Bow Headliner with Sun Visor Material, Acme 70-1413-PRP1186.
This replacement headliner is tailored for 1970-1973 Chevrolet Camaro two-door models equipped with the original suspended five-bow headliner system. It is manufactured from Buckskin Premier Perforated Vinyl and pre-sewn using an original factory-style pattern for the proper fit, texture and finished appearance. The exact Acme product record identifies part number 70-1413-PRP1186, 1970-1973 Camaro fitment, five-bow construction and Buckskin Premier Perforated Vinyl.
The headliner arrives with five pre-sewn listings or sleeves that accept the vehicle’s original metal support bows. Before removing the original headliner, each bow should be marked according to its front-to-rear position and transferred into the corresponding listing of the replacement headliner. The five metal bows are not included.
Matching loose Buckskin Premier Perforated Vinyl material is included for recovering the vehicle’s original sun visors. This is unfinished covering material and does not include completed sun visors, replacement visor cores, support bars, mounting brackets or hardware.
Acme manufactures this bow-suspended headliner using reproduced factory-style material designed to maintain the original quality, appearance and feel. Professional installation is recommended, and the current manufacturer-backed product record lists a 36-month limited warranty.
This is a tailored, pre-sewn suspended headliner. It is not loose material by the yard, foam-backed headliner-board material, an ABS headliner board or a board-to-bow conversion kit.

FITMENT WARNINGS
Verify five bows before ordering: This product fits Camaro models equipped with the original suspended five-bow headliner system. Count the existing bows and inspect the roof attachment points before removing the original headliner.
Headliner bows are not included: The vehicle’s original five metal bows must be transferred into the new headliner or a compatible replacement bow set must be purchased separately.
Sun visor material is unfinished: Matching material is supplied for recovering the original visor cores. Cutting, wrapping, sewing or edge binding may be required. Ready-to-install sun visors are not included.
Windlace is not included: Any required windlace or perimeter trim must be reused or purchased separately.
Color control: Buckskin is distinct from Brown, Saddle, Sandalwood, Camel Tan and Doeskin. Electronic displays and photography may not reproduce the precise shade, so a physical PRP1186 material sample is recommended when exact matching is important.
INSTALLATION NOTES
Before removing the original headliner, number each bow according to its position from front to rear. Bow lengths and contours may differ, so each bow should be returned to its original location.
Remove the sun visors, visor brackets, dome-light assembly, coat hooks, windlace and surrounding roof moldings as required to release the original headliner. Preserve all reusable trim and mounting hardware.
Carefully remove the bows from the old headliner and insert them through the corresponding sewn listings in the replacement headliner. Do not interchange the bows or force them through the material.
Position the replacement headliner inside the vehicle and establish the front-to-rear and side-to-side centerlines. Suspend all five bows before permanently securing the perimeter.
Stretch and secure the material gradually, working outward from the center and alternating between opposite sides. Pulling one side completely tight before adjusting the other may create diagonal wrinkles or shift the headliner off-center.
Do not trim excess perimeter material until the headliner is centered, evenly tensioned and checked for correct bow placement. Cut openings for the dome light, visor brackets, coat hooks and related accessories only after final positioning.
Use the included matching material to recover the original sun-visor cores. Recovering the visors may require cutting, sewing, edge binding and automotive upholstery equipment.
Professional installation is recommended for correct bow sequencing, controlled material tensioning and final trimming.
