This replacement headliner is tailored for 1970-1973 Chevrolet Camaro two-door models equipped with the original suspended five-bow headliner system. It is manufactured from Medium Blue Premier Perforated Vinyl and pre-sewn using an original factory-style pattern for proper fit, texture and appearance.

The headliner arrives with five pre-sewn listings or sleeves that accept the vehicle’s original metal support bows. Before removing the existing headliner, each bow should be labeled according to its front-to-rear location and transferred into the corresponding listing of the replacement headliner. The original metal bows are not included.

Matching loose Medium Blue Premier Perforated Vinyl material is included for recovering the vehicle’s original sun visors. This is unfinished upholstery material and does not include completed sun visors, replacement visor cores, support bars, mounting brackets or hardware.

Acme manufactures this headliner using reproduced factory-style material intended to maintain the original pattern, fit and general appearance. Professional installation is recommended, and the current manufacturer-backed product record lists a 36-month limited warranty.

This is a tailored, pre-sewn suspended headliner. It is not loose material by the yard, foam-backed board material, an ABS headliner board or a board-to-bow conversion kit.

FITMENT WARNINGS

Verify five bows before ordering: This product fits Camaro models equipped with the original suspended five-bow headliner system. Count the existing bows and inspect the roof mounting points before removing the original material.

Inspect 1973 vehicles carefully: The product is cataloged for 1970-1973 Camaro applications, but the vehicle must retain the five-bow suspended system. A Camaro using a molded or board-style headliner requires a different product.

Bows are not included: The five original metal bows must be transferred into the new headliner or a compatible replacement bow set must be purchased separately.

Sun visor material is unfinished: The included matching material is intended for recovering the existing visor cores. Cutting, wrapping, sewing or edge binding may be required. Ready-to-install sun visors are not included.

Windlace is not included: Required windlace and surrounding perimeter trim must be reused or purchased separately.

Color control: Medium Blue is distinct from Light Blue, Dark Blue, Navy Blue and Light Silver Blue. Photography, lighting and electronic displays may alter the apparent shade, so compare a physical PRP1482 material sample when exact matching is important.
