This stamped metal glove box door arm is designed to help support the glove box door when it is opened. It keeps the glove box door level and helps prevent the door from falling too far downward during normal use. When the original arm is missing, bent, worn, rusty, or damaged, the glove box door may drop open, hang unevenly, or feel unsupported.
