Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1979-1981 Camaro LH Upper Dash Pad Retainer Support Bracket OER - K7904 for securing the driver side portion of the upper dash pad to the instrument dash panel on second generation Camaro models.
This small bracket performs a very specific job in the 1979-1981 Camaro dash assembly. It mounts on the upper left-hand driver side area where the instrument cluster meets the dash pad and helps retain, align, and secure the dash pad in place. When this bracket is missing, bent, rusted, or damaged, the dash pad can sit loose, misaligned, or unsupported around the instrument cluster area.
This is a useful replacement part during dash pad installation, interior restoration, instrument cluster service, or repair of an incomplete dash assembly. It is a small piece, but without it the dash can behave like a courtroom witness with no story straightener.
