Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1985-1986 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Small Nose Bird Full Decal and Stripe Kit from Phoenix Graphix, part number 8586TA-2.
Designed specifically for 1985 and 1986 third-generation Trans Am models, this GM-authorized reproduction package includes the small three-inch nose bird, exterior identification decals, engine callouts and complete lower-body striping needed to restore the vehicle’s factory-style graphics.
The kit includes:
- One small three-inch nose bird
- Two sail-panel bird decals
- Two Trans Am front-fender names
- One Trans Am front-bumper name
- One Trans Am rear-bumper name
- Two 5.0 Liter H.O. front-fender engine decals
- Complete lower-body square-dot fade striping
- Complete lower-body accent striping
- Installation squeegee and instructions
Available factory-style and custom color combinations include:
- Gold Metallic with Gold Ochre accents
- Silver Metallic with Red or Blue accents
- Charcoal Metallic with Red or Orange accents
- Dark Brown Metallic with Ochre accents for gold cars
- Black Metallic with Red accents as a custom combination
Select the primary graphic color and accent color that match the vehicle’s original exterior graphics before ordering. The decals and striping are manufactured using high-performance automotive-grade 3M vinyl for a crisp, durable and factory-style appearance.
The included engine-identification decals read “5.0 Liter H.O.” The alternate 5.0 Liter F.I. fender decals required for applicable fuel-injected models are sold separately.
This package includes the small three-inch nose bird and does not contain the large outline-style hood bird supplied with the standard 8586TA kit. Fuel Injection door-handle emblem inserts, the Pontiac rear name and bird graphic, assembly-line decals and technical decals are also not included.
Professional installation is recommended because correct surface preparation, stripe alignment and decal positioning are essential for proper adhesion and the best finished appearance.
