Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1982-1984 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am / 1985-1986 Firebird 6-Inch Front Hood Bird Decal from Phoenix Graphix, part number 8286FB.
Reproduced from the original factory-style pattern, this compact Firebird graphic replaces the front hood bird used on applicable third-generation Pontiac models. The decal measures approximately six inches tall and 4.5 inches across at its widest point.
Correct factory-pattern applications include:
- 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
- 1983 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
- 1984 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
- 1985 Pontiac Firebird
- 1986 Pontiac Firebird
This six-inch hood bird was not installed on every Firebird or Trans Am produced during these years. Customers should verify the vehicle’s original graphic style, size and placement before ordering, especially when completing a factory-correct restoration.

This package contains one six-inch front hood-bird decal only. It does not include sail-panel birds, the smaller front-bumper bird, Trans Am identification lettering, engine callouts, body stripes, a 12-inch accessory hood bird, a louvered-style hood bird or a large outline-style hood graphic.
Carefully remove the original decal and all remaining adhesive, wax, polish and surface contamination before installation. Professional installation is recommended for accurate positioning, smooth application and dependable adhesion.
