Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1987-1990 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Identification, Bird and 5.0 Liter F.I. Decal Kit from Phoenix Graphix, part number 8790TA.
Designed for applicable 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1990 third-generation Trans Am models, this officially licensed GM Restoration Parts reproduction package restores the exterior Trans Am identification, Firebird graphics and 5.0 Liter F.I. engine callouts.
The package includes:
- One front-bumper nose-bird decal
- Two sail-panel bird decals
- One front-bumper Trans Am name
- One rear-bumper Trans Am name
- Two Trans Am front-fender names
- One Trans Am rear-spoiler name
- Two “5.0 Liter F.I.” engine-designation decals
- Installation squeegee and instructions
Current factory-style color selections include:
- Gold
- Silver
- Charcoal
Customers should verify the vehicle’s original exterior graphics before selecting a color, especially when completing a factory-correct restoration.
This kit uses the small front-bumper nose bird and does not include a large hood bird. Some 1987 Trans Am models used the earlier large outline-style hood bird on the vented hood, while others used the smaller nose-cone graphic supplied with this package. Customers restoring a 1987 vehicle should confirm its original graphic configuration before ordering.
The included engine callouts read “5.0 Liter F.I.” Models equipped with the 5.7-liter fuel-injected engine require the separately available pair of “5.7 Liter F.I.” decals.
This package does not include the large outline-style hood bird, lower-body graphics, rear Pontiac name-and-bird decal, Fuel Injection door-handle inserts, 1989 Indianapolis 500 Pace Car event graphics, assembly-line labels or technical decals.
