Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1993-1997 Chevrolet Camaro / Z28 Non-SS Stripe Kit with 1997 30th Anniversary Option, Phoenix Graphix 9730TH.
Restore the distinctive appearance of a 1997 Camaro 30th Anniversary model or add coordinated rally-style striping to a compatible 1993-1997 Camaro with this complete non-SS graphics package. The stripes extend from the front bumper across the hood and continue over the roof on hardtop models, then finish across the rear luggage compartment and spoiler.
Phoenix Graphix reproduces this kit from original OEM components using high-performance automotive-grade 2-mil cast vinyl. For a factory-style 1997 30th Anniversary restoration, the Hugger Orange version is printed to reproduce the original OEM orange color rather than using generic off-the-shelf orange vinyl.
The kit is available for hardtop/coupe, T-top and convertible body configurations. Hardtop or coupe kits include the roof stripe sections. T-top and convertible kits omit the roof stripes because those sections are not used on those roof configurations.
This package uses the standard non-SS hood stripe configuration. It does not fit Camaro SS models equipped with the SS-specific hood and stripe layout. Phoenix Graphix catalogs a separate 1997SS stripe package for those vehicles.

IMPORTANT PRODUCT DISTINCTION
Phoenix Graphix 9730TH is designed for the standard non-SS hood.
It does not fit:
- 1996-1997 Camaro SS models
- Vehicles using the SS-specific hood stripe shape
- 1998-2002 Camaro front-end and hood designs
For a 1997 Camaro SS, use the separate Phoenix Graphix 1997SS stripe kit. The SS package uses different hood graphics shaped for the SS hood.
30TH ANNIVERSARY RESTORATION NOTE
The Hugger Orange option is the correct Phoenix Graphix color choice when recreating the original 1997 Camaro 30th Anniversary stripe appearance. Phoenix Graphix states that its orange is specifically printed to match the OEM Hugger Orange color rather than cut from generic orange vinyl.
The other available colors use the same stripe layout but should be considered custom appearance options rather than factory-correct 30th Anniversary color combinations.
INSTALLATION NOTES
Unroll and inspect every stripe before beginning installation. Verify the body-style configuration, stripe color and kit contents before applying any section.
Thoroughly clean all application areas and remove:
- Wax
- Polish
- Grease
- Silicone
- Dirt
- Adhesive residue
- Detailing-product residue
Establish and mark the vehicle centerline before positioning the front bumper and hood stripes. Temporarily position the entire stripe layout to confirm consistent spacing and panel-to-panel alignment before removing the backing material.
On hardtop or coupe models, align the hood stripes with the roof, rear luggage-compartment and spoiler stripes before final application. Small alignment errors at the hood can become increasingly visible as the stripes continue toward the rear of the vehicle.
Do not stretch the vinyl across panel openings. Apply the stripes to each panel individually and carefully trim them at the hood, windshield, hatch and spoiler gaps where necessary.
Professional installation is recommended because this package spans several body panels and requires precise centerline alignment.
