This ACC complete molded carpet and floor-mat package is designed for 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro coupes equipped with a center console. It fits hardtop and T-top models and combines a one-piece molded replacement carpet with lightweight backing, separate jute insulation padding and matching front and rear floor mats.
Manufactured in the USA by Auto Custom Carpets, the cut-pile carpet is heat and pressure molded using the original Camaro floor-pan contours. The one-piece design follows the transmission tunnel, front and rear passenger floors and carpeted rear hatch deck.
The complete package includes:
- One-piece molded ACC cut-pile carpet
- Standard lightweight carpet backing
- Separate jute insulation padding
- Two matching front floor mats
- Two matching rear floor mats
- Finished floor-mat edges
- Carpet-gripping mat backing
- Center-console split
- Selected carpet color throughout the package
- No separate driver-side heel pad
The carpet covers the front and rear passenger compartment and extends over the original carpeted rear deck behind the rear seat. It does not extend into the recessed rear storage compartment.
Lightweight Carpet Configuration
This version uses ACC’s standard lightweight carpet backing instead of the heavier bonded EVA mass backing.
The lighter construction makes the carpet easier to position and handle during installation. Separate jute padding provides cushioning and insulation beneath the molded carpet, although this configuration does not provide the same added weight, rigidity or sound and heat control as the mass-backed version.
The jute insulation is installed on the floor pan before the molded carpet is positioned.
Console-Split Design
The carpet is manufactured with a split for the factory center console. The console must be removed before installation so the carpet can be properly positioned over the transmission tunnel.
The console split is not a completely finished installation opening. Additional trimming and openings for the seats, seat belts, shifter, console and related components must be completed during installation.

Does not fit convertibles. Convertible models require a different molded carpet pattern.
Installation Information
This carpet is premolded, but final trimming and component openings are required. Test-fit the complete carpet before making permanent cuts.
During installation:
- Remove the seats, center console, sill plates and related trim
- Remove the original carpet and clean the floor pan
- Position the separate jute insulation padding
- Center the molded carpet over the transmission tunnel
- Align the molded contours with the floor pan
- Work outward toward the doors and rear hatch area
- Confirm the carpet’s position before trimming
- Cut openings gradually for the seats, seat belts, shifter and console
- Trim the outer perimeter only after the carpet is properly positioned
Do not rely solely on the removed carpet as an exact cutting template. Original carpeting can stretch, shrink or contain incorrectly positioned openings from previous installation work.
The molded carpet is manufactured without a separate driver-side heel pad in accordance with the ACC application design.

What does this package include?

What area does the carpet cover?
It covers the front and rear passenger floors and the original carpeted rear hatch deck behind the rear seat. It does not cover the recessed storage compartment.
What is the difference between lightweight and mass-backed carpet?

No. Final trimming and openings for the seats, seat belts, shifter, console and related components are required.
Does the carpet have a driver-side heel pad?
No. ACC manufactures this Camaro application without a separate heel pad.
Will this package fit a convertible Camaro?
No. It is designed for hardtop and T-top Camaro coupes.
