Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1996-2002 Pontiac Firebird Formula / Trans Am WS6 Ram Air Hood-Scoop Decal Pair from Phoenix Graphix, part number 9602RA-1.
Designed for fourth-generation Firebird Formula and Trans Am models equipped with the factory-style Ram Air hood, these reproduction decals replace the frequently faded, cracked, peeling or missing “Ram Air” identification originally positioned on the hood-scoop areas.
The package includes:
- Two “Ram Air” hood-scoop decals
- One LH decal
- One RH decal
- Installation squeegee and instructions
Available color selections include:
- Black
- Silver
- Red
- White

Hood configuration must be verified before ordering. These decals are intended for Ram Air-style hood applications and are not designed as model-identification decals for a standard flat hood. They may also be used on compatible aftermarket Ram Air hoods when the scoop contours and available mounting surfaces reproduce the factory configuration.
Not every offered color represents the factory-installed choice for every model year, exterior color or special-edition package. Customers completing a factory-correct restoration should inspect any surviving original graphics or verify the proper color through the vehicle’s original documentation before ordering.
This package contains the two “Ram Air” hood decals only. It does not include:
- Hood, roof or rear-spoiler stripes
- WS6 emblems

- Technical or engine-compartment decals
Remove the deteriorated original graphics and all remaining adhesive, wax, polish and surface contamination before installation. Professional installation is recommended for symmetrical positioning, proper alignment and dependable adhesion.
