Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird Formula / Trans Am Ram Air Hood Stripe Kit from Phoenix Graphix, part number 9802RA.
Designed for fourth-generation Firebird models equipped with the raised factory-style Ram Air hood, this GM-authorized reproduction package includes matching LH and RH hood stripes with integrated “Ram Air” identification.
The kit includes:
- One LH Ram Air hood stripe
- One RH Ram Air hood stripe
- Installation squeegee
- Installation instructions

The vehicle must be equipped with the corresponding raised Ram Air-style hood. These graphics are not designed for the standard flat Firebird hood.
This is a hood-only stripe package. It does not include roof stripes, rear deck-lid stripes, rear-spoiler stripes, separate model-name decals, bumper lettering, Firebird bird graphics, physical emblems or technical decals.
Customers wanting coordinated hood, roof and rear-spoiler graphics for a Firebird or Formula should select Phoenix Graphix 9802RAFB. Trans Am models requiring hood, roof, deck-lid and high-rise-spoiler graphics should use Phoenix Graphix 9802RATA.
Do not confuse this package with Phoenix Graphix 9802RA-1. Part number 9802RA includes the complete LH and RH hood stripes with “Ram Air” incorporated into the graphics, while 9802RA-1 contains only the two standalone “Ram Air” hood decals.
Phoenix Graphix does not catalog separate hardtop, T-top or convertible configurations for this hood-only package because the included graphics are installed exclusively on the hood.
Professional installation is recommended. Paint must be fully cured and free from wax, polish, grease, adhesive residue and other contamination. Carefully position both stripes to maintain consistent alignment around the raised hood and Ram Air scoop openings.
