Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Ram Air Hood, Roof, Deck-Lid and Spoiler Bird Stripe Kit from Phoenix Graphix, part number 9802RATA.
Designed for fourth-generation Trans Am models equipped with the compatible Ram Air hood and high-rise rear spoiler, this GM-authorized graphics package uses a 1999 30th Anniversary-inspired stripe design with Firebird bird details. Coordinated graphics extend across the hood, roof, rear deck lid and spoiler.
The package includes:
- Two hood stripes, LH and RH
- Two “Ram Air” hood-scoop decals
- Two roof stripes for hardtop and T-top applications
- Two rear deck-lid stripes
- Two rear-spoiler stripes
- Installation squeegee
- Installation instructions

The vehicle must have the corresponding Ram Air-style hood, rear deck lid and Trans Am high-rise spoiler configuration. The graphics are not designed for a standard flat Firebird hood.
Phoenix Graphix also catalogs this design as physically compatible with appropriately equipped Firebird Formula models. However, the included deck-lid and spoiler stripes are configured around the Trans Am rear-body treatment. Formula applications with different spoiler or rear-deck arrangements should be considered custom installations and verified before ordering.
The 9802RATA package uses the bird-accented stripe pattern associated with the 1999 30th Anniversary design but supplies it in one solid color. It is intended primarily as a custom appearance package for 1998-2002 Trans Am models. It does not duplicate the factory light-blue and dark-blue graphics used on a genuine 1999 30th Anniversary Trans Am. Those vehicles require the separately available Phoenix Graphix 9930TH kit.
This package does not include:
- Ram Air hood, rear deck lid or rear spoiler

Professional installation is recommended. The large hood, roof, deck-lid and spoiler graphics require fully cured paint, accurate positioning and consistent panel-to-panel alignment. Remove all wax, polish, grease, adhesive residue and surface contamination before installation.
