Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 30th Anniversary Daytona 500 Pace Car Door and Feather Decal Kit from Phoenix Graphix, part number 1999DD.
Designed for the white-and-blue 1999 Trans Am 30th Anniversary Edition, this GM-authorized reproduction package recreates the extensive Daytona 500 Pace Car graphics applied across the doors, rear-quarter panels, rocker panels, bumpers, windshield and rear glass.
The 19-piece graphics package includes:
- Two large door-panel feather graphics
- Two large rear-quarter-panel feather graphics
- Two Daytona 500 door decals
- Two “Great American Race” door decals
- Two “OFFICIAL PACE CAR” rocker-panel decals
- Two Trans Am door-name decals
- One P-O-N-T-I-A-C rear-bumper name decal
- Two NASCAR Winston Cup Series lower front-bumper decals
- Two NASCAR lower rear-bumper decals
- One front-windshield PONTIAC decal
- One rear-window PONTIAC decal

This package is supplied exclusively in the correct multicolor Pace Car Blue graphics combination. Alternate black, red, silver, gold, charcoal, white, or chrome color selections are not offered under this part number.
The 1999DD package contains the Daytona 500 race-event graphics only. It does not include the factory-style 30th Anniversary over-the-top graphics, including:
- Ram Air hood stripes
- Ram Air hood-scoop decals
- Roof stripes
- Rear deck-lid stripes
- Rear-spoiler stripes
The separately available Phoenix Graphix 9930TH package contains those over-the-top graphics. Customers requiring both packages should select the complete Phoenix Graphix 9930THU Ultimate Kit.
The front nose-bird inlay, driver-side headlamp-door PONTIAC decal, rear taillight filler-panel Trans Am name-and-bird overlays, physical emblems and technical decals are also not included.
These event graphics were not the standard exterior graphics installed on every production 1999 30th Anniversary Trans Am. The package may be used when restoring a properly documented Daytona 500 Pace Car or creating a visually accurate Pace Car-style display vehicle. Installing the decals does not establish a vehicle as an original event or track-used Pace Car.
Professional installation is strongly recommended. The large door and rear-quarter feather graphics require careful surface preparation, positioning and alignment. Painted surfaces must be fully cured and free from wax, polish, adhesive residue, grease and other contamination before installation.
