Overview
Morimoto's XB LED Tail Lights modernize the rear of the C7 Corvette with C8-style light pipes and integrated LED lighting. The smoked lenses and black housings provide a distinctive appearance while maintaining full brake, parking, turn signal, and reverse light functionality. Installation
These tail lights are designed as a direct bolt-on replacement using the Corvette's factory mounting points and connectors. No modifications, additional resistors, modules, or adapters are required for installation on compatible North American vehicles. Morimoto includes new outer air-exhaust trim pieces along with the necessary trim bezels and wire clips. Installation is estimated at approximately one to two hours.Detailed Description
The Morimoto XB LED Tail Lights give the C7 Corvette a modern C8-inspired rear lighting appearance while maintaining the functionality expected from a premium OEM-style replacement. The large C8-style light pipes illuminate red for parking and brake functions, while the integrated amber LED turn signals can operate in either standard or sequential mode. One of the rear reflectors also functions as the white reverse light and connects directly to the factory reverse-light circuit. An optional Morimoto Backup Light Boost Bar is also available and plugs directly into the factory reverse-light circuit to significantly increase reverse-light output. The smoked-lens design provides a darker appearance when the lights are not illuminated, while the LED lighting provides bright and clearly defined brake, parking, turn signal, and reverse functions. The assemblies use ABS plastic housings, UV-resistant polycarbonate lenses, and SSC LEDs. Note: The smoked lens model is not compliant for on-road use in the United States.What's Included
