Overview
Morimoto's XB LED Tail Lights modernize the rear appearance of the C7 Corvette with C8-style light pipes and integrated LED functions. The red light pipes provide low-intensity parking illumination and high-intensity brake lighting, while the outer reflectors function as amber LED turn signals. The turn signals can be configured for either standard or sequential operation during installation.

Installation
These tail lights are designed as a direct bolt-on replacement using the Corvette's factory mounting points and connectors. No modifications, additional resistors, modules, or adapters are required for installation on compatible North American vehicles. Morimoto includes new outer air-exhaust trim pieces along with the necessary trim bezels and wire clips. Installation is estimated at approximately one to two hours.
Detailed Description
The Morimoto XB LED Tail Lights give the C7 Corvette a modern C8-inspired rear lighting appearance while retaining the functionality expected from an OEM-style replacement. The large C8-style light pipes illuminate red for parking and brake functions, while the integrated amber LED turn signals can operate in either standard or sequential mode.
One of the rear reflectors also functions as the white reverse light and connects directly to the factory reverse-light circuit. The optional Morimoto Backup Light Boost Bar can be added for substantially increased reverse-light output, providing up to 2,700 lumens of additional controlled illumination.
The red-lens version is designed to meet DOT, SAE, and FMVSS108 standards. The lights are constructed with ABS plastic housings, UV-resistant polycarbonate lenses, and SSC LEDs for long-term durability and performance.
