Hawks Motorsports is pleased to offer our clients the following Roto-fab cold air intake system with an oiled filter for the 2017-2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, part #1016-1056.
Developed specifically for the supercharged 6.2L LT4 engine, this Roto-fab intake combines a large-capacity air filter, custom-molded inlet ductwork and an open-top airbox engineered to seal against the underside of the Camaro’s hood and the vehicle’s incoming fresh-air duct.
The design provides increased airbox volume while helping isolate the filter from hot engine-compartment air. It can be used as a stand-alone performance modification on a compatible ZL1 without requiring an engine calibration.
Roto-fab reports a 26-horsepower gain during its testing with no tune or other vehicle modifications. Individual results can vary depending on vehicle condition, testing method, environmental conditions and other modifications.
In addition to its airflow benefits, the intake produces a more noticeable supercharger sound under acceleration while improving the appearance of the ZL1 engine compartment.

This intake is intended for sixth-generation Camaro ZL1 models equipped with the factory-style supercharged 6.2L LT4 intake configuration.
It is not the correct intake for the naturally aspirated Camaro SS, Camaro LT1, Camaro V6 or Camaro turbocharged four-cylinder.

Part #1016-1056 is Roto-fab’s standard no-tune Camaro ZL1 intake. Roto-fab describes it as the preferred system for most standard and moderately modified ZL1 applications where factory-style drivability and no-tune operation are priorities.
For combinations exceeding approximately 650–700 rear-wheel horsepower, Roto-fab recommends considering its larger Big Gulp intake:

Filter Service Information
The supplied red filter arrives pre-oiled and ready for installation.
Roto-fab specifies 89 grams of filter oil when the filter is serviced. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning, drying and re-oiling procedures to avoid applying too much or too little oil.
The direct replacement oiled filter is Roto-fab part #1013-5013.
Customers who prefer a dry-filter version should use Roto-fab part #1016-1057.
Installation Notes
Confirm that the vehicle is a 2017-2024 Camaro ZL1 with the compatible supercharged 6.2L LT4 configuration before beginning installation.
Carefully remove and transfer the mass airflow sensor without touching or contaminating its sensing elements. Inspect all intake connections and ensure the airbox is correctly positioned against the vehicle’s fresh-air duct.
