The 8-rib damper gives the belt more bite, while the larger 8-inch pulley bumps crank speed by 10% to get the supercharger moving harder. And here's the cool part: Innovators West notes that this 8-rib damper can be run with the stock 6-rib belt, letting you overdrive the blower before converting the rest of the accessory drive to 8 ribs. That's a pretty slick way to step into a serious forced-induction setup without doing the whole conversion at once.
