Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 853 LSX 8-Rib Harmonic Balancer for 2006-2013 Corvette LS7, 10% Overdrive, Innovators West. This SFI 18.1 harmonic damper is designed for the LS7 Corvette accessory drive and features an 8-rib pulley with a 10% overdrive ratio.

If you're putting some serious power through an LS7, the belt drive needs to be able to hang with it. The 8-rib setup gives the belt more bite on the crank, while the 10% overdrive gets the blower spinning harder without having to go straight to an extremely small blower pulley. It's a solid piece for an LS7 that's being pushed hard, whether you're building a high-RPM combination or putting boost on one.

The 853 measures 8.125 inches in diameter, weighs approximately 8.6 lbs, and comes with a single 3/16-inch keyway. It exceeds SFI 18.1 standards and includes the crank bolt. Innovators West also notes that, despite having eight belt grooves, this damper can be used with the stock 6-rib accessory drive.
